We offer FREE ONSITE PARKING for all events except for campers. Overnight camping with shore power is available only in the South lot with prior written permission for a nightly fee. Limited spaces available.
As stated in the City of Augusta Ordinances, § 270-35, no person can park or permit a vehicle to remain parked overnight without permission of the Civic Center Director or their designee. Any vehicle found in violation may be removed and impounded.

In accordance with Maine State Law, tobacco, cannabis, and nicotine products are prohibited in all inside areas of the Augusta Civic Center.

It is the policy of the Augusta Civic Center that firearms and weapons are prohibited inside the venue, except by on-duty law enforcement officers with jurisdiction. Firearms and weapons used for display or educational purposes may be allowed with written permission by the building director. Requests require thirty (30) days advanced notice and written approval by the director or designee in advance of such display.

Any event that takes place Monday-Thursday after 5pm, or Friday 5pm through Monday at 7am, or includes alcoholic beverages, will have, at a minimum, ACC event security present. When security is not present, the building will be under the supervision of the building director. Should you require assistance during your visit, please see any staff member.

Should an evacuation become necessary, please leave the building using the nearest exit, move away from the building using caution when crossing streets, proceed to POLE 6 in the main parking lot, check in with staff, and remain outside until directions are received from security personnel that it is safe to re-enter the building.

The Augusta Civic Center is an ADA compliant venue, however, we encourage guests who require additional accommodations to contact us before the event at 207-626-2405 to ensure that we are aware of, and can meet, the accommodations. Wheelchairs: A limited number of wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, speak to the administrative staff in the main office.

Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. The Augusta Civic Center welcomes all service dogs who are under the control of their handler.

The City of Augusta observes the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Patriot's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. The administrative and box offices will be closed on these observed holidays.

All items found will be held for thirty (30) days. Any items not claimed after thirty (30) days will be disposed. The Augusta Civic Center is not liable or responsible for any items left behind, unattended, or unclaimed.

The Augusta Civic Center is designated as an emergency shelter for the City of Augusta. In the event that there is an emergency, information will be posted on this website and on social media.

The Augusta Civic Center takes great pride in serving the finest food and beverages. No food or beverage will be permitted into the facility with the exception of specialty cakes with advanced notice and written permission. Fees apply for cake cutting and plating service. Due to health and safety standards, no food or beverage is allowed to leave the facility.

The Augusta Civic Center is pleased to prepare meals that require special dietary considerations and can accommodate most dietary restrictions with advance notice.

The Augusta Civic Center abides by all State of Maine Liquor Laws and City ordinances. The Augusta Civic Center reserves the right to close any bar due to lack of business or excessive drinking. For everyone’s safety and security, the Augusta Civic Center reserves the right to refuse service to any patron it deems necessary. Unconsumed alcoholic beverages may not leave the facility.

Guests are NOT required to show a negative test or proof of vaccination to attend an event. Some events may require ALL guests wear a mask regardless of vaccine status or may require proof of vaccination. Check the specific event requirements or follow us on social media for future show updates.

Will Call allows individuals to pick up pre-purchased tickets for an event at the Box Office. Picture ID, and credit card used for purchase may be required at pickup. Will Call is at the Augusta Civic Center Box Office next to the main entrance and is available for one hour before the doors open to the public on day of show unless otherwise posted at the box office.

All event advanced deposits are due with signed rental agreement.
All cancellations of events or specific rooms must happen at least sixty (60) days prior to the event start date to avoid event charges. Advanced deposits are not refundable.
Meal selections, preliminary setup requirements, and guaranteed meal counts are due twenty-five (25) days prior to the event start date. Final setup requirements and final meal counts are due ten (10) days prior to the event start date.
All in-house equipment is subject to a 5.5% sales tax. All meals are subject to an 8% meals tax and 20% service charge.

We offer discounted rates for setup and tear down requests if available. Please inform your event coordinator if you need additional setup and tear down time. Unfortunately, we do not have ample storage options and cannot guarantee that we would have a safe/secure place to store your items unless it is reserved and paid for ahead of time.

Yes, you can! If you choose to hire an audio-visual company, please be sure to include their required setup and tear down times in your planning. If you prefer that we hire your audio-visual company and make all arrangements directly with them and pay the invoice on your behalf, then the final invoice will be added to your final event bill with a 20% service fee for staff time.

A non-refundable deposit may be required to confirm your booking. Invoices will be prepared at the completion of the event according to the specifics of the signed rental agreement. Payments are due thirty (30) days from the final invoice date, unless otherwise specified on the rental agreement. Please see your rental agreement for payment details. Accepted forms of payment are cash, check, bank check, or money order. Credit cards are not accepted for deposits or payments at this time.

The Augusta Civic Center is conveniently located right off of I-95 in Maine. From the South, take exit 112A. From the North, take exit 112. At the first light, turn left, at the 2nd light, go straight, at the 3rd light, you will see the large sign for the Augusta Civic Center on the right. Turn right and follow the road to the Augusta Civic Center.

Load in/out Date & Time: Your show promotor will provide you with a load-in and load-out date and time. Should you require a different accommodation, you must notify your show promoter 15 days prior to the load-in/out date, and the Augusta Civic Center must be notified by the show promoter no later than 14 days prior.
Load in/out Location: Exhibitors may ONLY load in and out through the loading door on the South side of the building. For safety and security reasons, PLEASE DO NOT drive up our sidewalks and park in front of our entrances and exits. Please watch for signage that will indicate where parking and loading in and out is available.
Shipping to the Augusta Civic Center: Deliveries are received at the Augusta Civic Center Monday –Friday, 8am to 4pm EST. Please send all materials to: Augusta Civic Center, 76 Community Drive, Augusta, ME 04330. Please indicate the show name, your company name and your booth number (if known) on the outside of the package(s) for proper tracking. Due to limited storage space, please schedule deliveries no earlier than 3 business days prior to the load in of the show.
Shipping from the Augusta Civic Center: At the end of the show, pack up any materials to be shipped and contact your shipping vendor for a pickup. If package doesn’t require a forklift or transportation cart, bring to the main office in the main lobby and communicate the pickup information to the administrative staff. Pickups can be scheduled Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm EST. All pickups must be scheduled for the first business day after the show.
Parking: There is no designated parking, however, it is customary that exhibitors park in the lot at the South end of the building – the same lot where vendors access the load in/out door. All parking at the Augusta Civic Center is free.
Decorations: All drapes, curtains, table coverings, skirts, carpet or any material used in the vendor booth must be flame retardant. Tents or roofs on top of booths are prohibited if they interfere with the proper operation of the sprinkler system. Please do not use tacks, pins, staples or tape on booth drape or table skirts. Please do not use any oil-based cleaner as it stains our exhibit floor. The Augusta Civic Center has S-Hooks available for hanging signage.
Exhibitors must comply with all Federal, State, and Local laws with regard to raffles, drawings, sweepstakes, donations, etc., and it is the responsibility of the exhibitor and the show promoter to ensure that all activities are in compliance.
If bringing in any type of vehicle or sporting equipment, please ensure that there is no oil leaking onto the floor, and that the unit is dry and free of debris that could damage the auditorium floor and/or basketball court.
Please no helium balloons in the main auditorium.
When the show is not open, the exhibitor hall will remain closed and locked for safety and security reasons. The show promoter, not the Augusta Civic Center, will determine when exhibitors are allowed in the exhibit hall.
The Augusta Civic Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

The Augusta Civic Center retains the rights to refuse venue access to any guest that does not follow policies or applicable laws.
The Augusta Civic Center retains the rights to inspect all packages and bags before entering the venue.
Exceptions may be made for medical and religious purpose, after proper inspection, and prior approval of Venue Director.
